Job-based approvals condenses the job and employer approval process into one single step so you can approve a new employer who wants to connect with your institution and their first job at the same time, providing you with more context into the employer and streamlining the approval process.

ERM Discovery [Launched: May 29 2025]

ERM Discovery is the final instalment in our wider Employer Relationship updates. The new discovery page lets you quickly search for employers and access your favourited employers. We've also introduced discovery prompts like “Most active jobs” and “Most alumni” to help you explore an expanded employer network, surfacing employers based on criteria that matters to you and your students. While new tabs make it easy to switch between your institution’s network and the broader Handshake network.

Interest signal [Launched: May 29 2025]

Interest signal allows employers to favourite and express interest in connecting with your institution. Ideal for employers who want to connect with you but don’t yet have a job to post. Employers who have requested access to connect with you institution will be accessible via the new discovery prompt 'Expressed interest in your institution'.
