Handshake student product updates - 29th January

Student language proficiency [Launched: 25th January 2024]

We are making it easier for students to edit and update their languages and level of proficiency by adding a new section to their profile. Now, as of 25th January, students are not only able to quickly review and edit their languages but careers professionals and employers can easily see this information.

We have also introduced the ability for careers professionals to be able to filter students based on the languages they speak.

Appointment signups in mobile home feed [Launched: 22nd January 2024]

[Beta] Students participating in the mobile home feed beta will now see a card that directs them to book in an Appointment with their careers services. This update only applies to institutions that manage appointments on Handshake and that are participating in the mobile home feed beta. 

Employer collections in mobile home feed: [Launched: 29th January]

[Beta] Students are able to see employer collections curated by their institution in the mobile home feed. This update only applies to students at institutions participating in the mobile home feed beta.
